Job Title: HR Generalist


Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred)


Position Overview:

As a Remote HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations across the employee lifecycle. You will be the go-to resource for employees and managers on HR policies, compliance, and payroll-related matters. This role reports to the HR Manager and requires a versatile HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.


What You’ll Do:

  • Administer HR programs including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and compliance issues.
  • Serve as backup to the HR Manager as needed.
  • Maintain and update HR records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects that enhance organizational culture.
  • Handle employee inquiries with confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a fully remote environment.
  • West Coast time zone preferred
  • Prior experience working with ADP is required.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and remote collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams).
