Who will you be working with? How will you make a difference?
The HR Generalist will provide all facets of HR management for the Vapor Bus International (VBI) and provide strategic partnership with the HR Manager. This role will be critical in working across the site to proactively identify and execute on organizational priorities and drive culture change.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field or 4 years of equivalent experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 360: Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Word, Outlook, PPT, Teams
- Ability to influence & engage at all levels of the business
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects and drive change
- Strong coaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to speak and understand Spanish

- Serve as active generalist for VBI. Provide guidance and support for full suite of HR functions, including talent management, performance management, employee relations, organizational change, policy and process implementation and facilitating team performance.
- Partner with HR/business management to develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic environment and develop / implement appropriate change management plans as required. Including recruiting, selection, as well as restructuring, and reduction of the workforce as needed
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence in areas of organizational talent & strategy, compensation & benefits, HR Operations, and employment counsel to ensure alignment and effectiveness
- Support the execution of employee engagement and development strategies, including rewards and recognition programs, onboarding processes, and performance management activities.
- Drive enterprise-wide initiatives and engage with senior leadership team to further HR and organizational objectives.
- Provide coaching, advice, council, and support for Leadership, managers, employees and peers
- Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $62100-85300. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible.
