Position Overview and Role Description

We are hiring for a fast-growing SaaS company delivering ERP solutions to industrial and environmental sectors, supporting leading enterprise clients across Europe. The platform powers complex, mission-critical workflows in waste management and environmental compliance, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security.

Role Summary

This role is based in Manila, Philippines (fully remote) and works closely with Netherlands-based European stakeholders. This role owns end-to-end delivery execution for one or more engineering teams. The Project Manager/Delivery Lead ensures sprint health, backlog readiness, risk control, and clear stakeholder communication across time zones.

This is not a coordination-only role. The individual must combine strong project management discipline with a deep understanding of agile delivery and engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Ownership

• Own sprint health, delivery predictability, and outcomes end-to-end
• Drive daily updates, progress tracking, and delivery transparency
• Ensure “no surprises” for stakeholders through proactive risk management
• Enforce scope hygiene and protect teams from unplanned work

Unblocking & Risk Management

• Identify blockers early and drive resolution within defined SLAs
• Coordinate across product, engineering, and dependencies to unblock teams
• Escalate only when necessary, with context, options, and recommendations

Communication & Collaboration

• Work asynchronously with Netherlands-based stakeholders across time zones
• Provide structured daily updates before Europe’s day starts (CET)
• Communicate risks, blockers, and timeline impacts immediately—no surprises
• Push back constructively on unclear scope or unrealistic timelines

Unblocking & Team Enablement

• Remove delivery blockers quickly to keep teams productive
• Shield developers from ambiguity and unnecessary context switching
• Ensure teams always have well-defined, actionable work

Sprint & Agile Execution

• Own sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure sprint goals are clear, achievable, and protected from scope creep
• Track velocity, capacity, burn-down, and sprint health metrics
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven retrospectives

Backlog & Scope Management

• Lead backlog refinement to ensure stories are ready, estimated, and dependency-free
• Maintain scope hygiene and prevent unplanned work from disrupting delivery
• Work with Product and Engineering to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and priorities

Project Management & Delivery Ownership

• Own delivery timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies end-to-end
• Provide structured daily and weekly updates aligned to European time zones
• Proactively identify risks and resolve blockers within defined SLAs
• Escalate only when required, with clear context and solution options

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide structured, asynchronous updates aligned to European time zones
• Manage expectations, timelines, and delivery risks clearly and early
• Act as the single point of accountability for delivery communication

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software delivery, project management, or agile leadership
• 5+ experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead in a SaaS
• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts and tech stack: React Native | TypeScript | Frontend Development | REST/GraphQL APIs | AWS/Azure | Git | CI/CD | iOS & Android | Jenkins | Terraform | Kubernetes | Postman/Bruno
• Hands-on experience working with distributed teams and European stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
• Excellent written communication for structured, async reporting
• Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) are a plus, not mandatory

Working Model & Contract Details

• Location: Manila, Philippines
• Work Model: Fully Remote
• Client Location: Netherlands
• Contract Duration: 12 months (initial), with renewal options
• Start Date: March 2026
