ABOUT WE HEALTHIFY

We Healthify is a digital health company delivering a live Value-Based Care (VBC) platform used by healthcare providers to capture Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Clinical Reported

Outcomes (CROMs). The platform is in active production and is now progressing through productisation, regulatory readiness, and multi-market scaling across the Middle East and the UK.

This is not a greenfield initiative. You will evolve a real operating system into a robust, reusable, multi-tenant SaaS platform.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Saas Software Developer (Full Stack) with 5-6+ years’ experience who will be responsible for taking technical ownership of the core platform and guiding its evolution into a

scalable, compliant, multi-tenant SaaS product.

The role focuses on strengthening architectural integrity, tenant isolation, reusability, and long-term platform health. It is not a DevOps or rebuild mandate. You will act as the technical steward of the

platform, working closely with founders, the technical lead, and an external delivery partner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FULL-STACK DEVELOPEMNT

• Build and maintain React frontend modules that deliver responsive, accessible, and intuitive user experiences

• Develop secure and scalable backend services (Node.js/Express) handling business logic and APIs.

• Design and optimize tenant-safe database schemas using MongoDB/Mongoose.

• Implement integrations with services (auth providers, clinical systems, data services).

SAAS PRODUCT DELIVERY

• Deliver features that operate securely in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

• Translate product designs into high-quality, reusable code.

• Ensure code follows standards for performance, security, and maintainability.

• Own and deeply understand the existing production codebase

• Maintain a single canonical platform across clients and markets

• Prevent fragmentation, duplication, or client-specific forks

MULTI-TENANCY & DATA ISOLATION

• Design and enforce tenant-safe behaviour across data models, APIs, and business logic

• Eliminate cross-tenant data risk

• Enable safe onboarding of new organisations without bespoke builds

PRODUCTISATION & REUSABILITY

• Refactor hard-coded logic into configurable, reusable components

• Promote configuration over customisation

• Ensure all enhancements strengthen the shared platform

AUTHENTICATION, AUTHORISATION & ACCESS CONTROL

• Design and implement robust RBAC models

• Define clear boundaries between tenant users, tenant administrators, and system-level

access

• Prepare the platform for enterprise and NHS-style identity models

ARCHITECTURE & CODE QUALITY

• Review architectural proposals and pull requests

• Identify SaaS anti-patterns and introduce pragmatic improvements

• Deliver incremental improvements without large-scale rewrites

QUALITY & TESTING

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and API tests.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure high engineering standards.

DOCUMENTATION & KNOWLEDGE RETENTION

• Document architectural decisions, patterns, and constraints

• Maintain clear guidance on how the platform works and how it should be extended

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

• Work closely with founders on product and market alignment

• Collaborate with the technical lead and delivery partner

• Translate regulatory and compliance needs into technical solutions

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

• Not a greenfield SaaS build

• Not a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-only role

• Not a delivery or project management position

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of hands-on professional software development experience

• At least 2 recent years working on production SaaS products

• Proven experience improving and stabilising live systems

• Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, and access control

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

AUTONOMY & DELIVERY OWNERSHIP

• Able to work independently once a solution design is provided

• Capable of translating architectural intent into production-ready code

• Proactively identifies risks, edge cases, and architectural anti-patterns

UX AWARENESS

• Solid understanding of UX principles and usability constraints

• Awareness of accessibility considerations in healthcare environments

• Able to collaborate effectively with UX designers and challenge poor usability decisions

TECHNICAL STACK & HANDS-ON CAPABILITY

• Backend: Node.js with Express (production APIs, middleware, multi-tenant handling)

• Frontend: React (API-driven UI and component-based architecture)

• Database: MongoDB with Mongoose (schema design and tenant-safe modelling)

• Authentication & Security: Session-based authentication, cryptography, RBAC

• API Communication: Authenticated client-server integration

• Data Processing & AI: Background processing services and AI/LLM integrations using

appropriate technologies

• Cloud & DevOps: SaaS deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP using containers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and environment separation

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Healthcare, regulated, or enterprise SaaS environments

• GDPR, audit-driven design, or compliance-led platforms

• Working with distributed teams and external delivery partners
