Kotlin Expert - Data Processing and AI Model Development

Position: Kotlin Expert

Compensation: $ 30 - $150/hr

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with machine learning engineers and developers to support AI model training using Kotlin.
• Analyze, refactor, and develop complex Kotlin codebases for data processing and automation workflows.

• Translate AI and machine learning requirements into efficient, scalable Kotlin implementations.
• Document coding standards, workflows, and best practices to support long-term maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews and deliver clear, actionable feedback to improve quality and performance.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines and system workflows.
• Research and integrate relevant Kotlin libraries and tools for AI-focused use cases.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with a distributed, asynchronous team.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin with demonstrated experience in advanced use cases.
• Hands-on experience building backend systems or data processing applications in Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, version control, and Agile workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong technical clarity.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
