Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented Cloud Support Engineer to provide expert-level technical support for cloud and Linux-based environments at global scale. In this role, you will work directly with customers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and operating system issues. You will handle challenging problems across cloud platforms, containers, networking, and storage, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality. Operating in a fully remote, distributed environment, you will collaborate with highly skilled engineers worldwide and continuously expand your technical expertise. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge open-source technologies and the opportunity to build a long-term career in cloud support and systems engineering.

Accountabilities

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer issues related to cloud environments, Linux systems, and open-source technologies.
  • Own support cases end to end, ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements and customer expectations.
  • Engage directly with customers via ticketing systems, calls, and remote sessions to deliver clear, professional support.

Requirements

  • Strong professional written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Linux systems in production environments.
  • Practical expertise in at least three of the following areas: cloud and virtualization, containers, storage technologies, networking, or orchestration tools.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, stack trace interpretation, and OS-level debugging.
  • Understanding of application and operating system bugs, with the ability to escalate effectively.
  • Programming fundamentals in any language.
  • Proven customer support mindset with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally.
  • Willingness to work remotely and travel internationally up to twice per year for company events.
