Job Description

About Emerging markets - Digital & Process Excellence Team and Role details

EM Dpex organization is the go-to team for seeing and implementing digital process excellence, for a group of 20+ countries across the globe. This includes Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa and about 20+ countries. This role is expected to ensure seamless implementation and maintenance of ERP solutions and enhancements across these markets.



To enable this vision, the individual will work in across the DRL’s Emerging market network teams to deliver:

  1. ERP solutions that align with business priorities and add competitive advantage to business.
  2. Build thought leadership and expertise in ERP technologies and creatively apply it to different needs of the business.
  3. Driving continuous Business Process Simplification, Improvement and Excellence.
  4. Implementation of ERP projects within time and budget addressing critical business needs leveraging appropriate technology.
  5. Sustaining and maintaining a world class ERP infrastructure and Application landscape.



Expectations:



  1. Domain Knowledge :-
  1. Strong Knowledge of SAP S4H – configuration – for 1 or 2 modules (eg. SD, MM, FI) is required
  2. Strong Knowledge of SAP S4H – integrations – CPI based integrations, iDoc mgmt., reconciliation report etc
  3. Basic knowledge of Corporate functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Strategy and HR) in Pharmaceuticals or any other industry.
  4. Awareness of ERP solutions (eg. SAP B1, SAP WM module) will be an added advantage.



  1. Business Process Experience
  1. Capability to lead ERP improvement using Digital Technologies and allied change management.
  2. Working knowledge of core business processes – Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Supply chain and warehouse management, Accounts Receivables and payables etc.



Key Responsibilities

Candidate would be expected to lead independently with minimal supervision:

  1. Business Analysis
    1. Serve as an active listener for stakeholders and map business requirements & pain points.
    2. Engage business units to suggest ERP solutions and enhancements.
    3. Develop functional specifications
  2. Solution Design:
    1. Act as the trusted advisor, SME for Enterprise systems.
  3. Execution / Project Management:
    1. Co-ordination with Project teams
    2. Configuration of select modules as per project plan
    3. Testing post configuration
    4. Project management
  4. Adoption, enabling, training:
    1. User Training, handholding, change Management
  5. Excellence
    1. Knowledge Management to create SOPs for standard projects
    2. Ensure that project roll outs are conducted in line with Dr Reddy’s guidelines and policies
  6. Issue resolution
    1. Initiate root cause analysis on recurrent and time-consuming issues





Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

  • Ability to Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Planning and decision-making to drive execution excellence.
  • Change Management & Training, user adoption
  • Good to have in 1 or more areas:
    • Knowledge of SAP S4H, SAP B1
    • SAP Modules Knowledge: Familiarity with core modules like FI/CO (Finance/Controlling), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and WM.
    • SAP Integration: Understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, PLM, third-party platforms).
    • SAP Fiori/UI5: Experience with modern SAP user interfaces and design principles.
    • Data Governance & Master Data Management: Ensuring data quality and consistency across SAP systems.
  • Within SAP (1 or more of):
    • Experience of 3/4PL integrations, Bank integrations, Green field rollout, Brown field enhancements
    • Configuration of: Plant, Pricing procedure, Condition records, Account determination
    • RCA and CAPA
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Working with SAP consultants, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Must be collaborative in approach and a team player
  • Willingness to learn new concepts, tools and techniques related to the subject
