We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy improving software quality through automation in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Execute automated and manual tests for web, API, and backend systems
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results and provide clear quality reports
- Improve test coverage, reliability, and testing processes
- Contribute to QA documentation, standards, and best practices

- Experience in software testing, QA, or test automation roles (internships included)
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG)
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Familiarity with API testing and basic performance testing is a plus
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Clear communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time
