Senior DevOps Engineer - AI Startup

Compensation: $150,000-$220,000 base + competitive (founding level) equity

Hybrid/On Site: Flexible hybrid working (2-4 days on site expected)

We are working with an AI startup in San Francisco that build advanced research and data analysis to evaluate GenAI potential within a variety of organisations across the United States, allowing strategic and effective AI technology deployment.

The company is venture backed, founded by academics from Penn. MIT and Stanford, and work extensively alongside AI Experts and PhD researchers to build an impactful offering.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve CI/CD processes on AWS ensuring efficient and clean deployments
• Manage and optimize AWS environment including ECS Fargate and AWS marketplace integrations
• Increase monitoring, logging and visibility across multi-tenant infrastructure
• Contribute to backend services development with Python
• Contribute to Data Engineering tasks with Python

Who You Are

• Solid Python proficiency - ability to build backend services and assist in data engineering tasks effectively
• Background in Software Engineering or Data Engineering prior to moving into DevOps
• 5+ years experience in engineering
• Highly skilled across AWS infrastructure and DevOps principles
