About The Opportunity
A remote-first company operating in the B2B SaaS / cloud-native software sector, building scalable backend platforms and APIs that serve global customers. We deliver secure, high-performance services used in production environments and are hiring senior engineering talent based in Egypt to join a distributed engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs that handle high throughput and low-latency production traffic.
- Own backend architecture decisions and evolve microservices to improve reliability, observability, and performance.
- Write clean, testable code and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure frequent, safe deployments.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end and resolve production incidents.
- Perform code reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and promote engineering best practices (testing, monitoring, security).
- Optimize databases and data access patterns; implement caching and background processing for heavy workloads.
