JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager - interim

JOB PURPOSE: You will be responsible for working with School SLT Regional MAC Team and School MAC team to position and promote the school to prospective parents and other potential stakeholders

REPORTING TO: DAM

DIRECT REPORTS: Social Media Specialist

EXTERNAL OUTREACH

Devise and lead an outreach programme to energize the external network of the school and to position the school as the first choice within the market.

Position the school as a thought leader in the community through events earned media and speaking opportunities.

Ensure that the school has an outreach programme that widens the schools network positive relationships and reputation with the community.

Develop and maintain relationships with key account holders including but not limited to relocation agents embassies chambers education agents feeder schools and employers with the intent to build brand awareness and generate enquiries.

Develop the stakeholder map and contact strategy for the school bringing in other senior leaders as appropriate and develop all communications materials to be used with the external network.

Work with other schools or the regional office on opportunities that go beyond the school local community.

Measures Number of Enquiries Number of corporate accounts.

MARKETING

Understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders and develop marketing strategies and activities which deliver the key school messages in a timely relevant and engaging way.

Develop the school brand equity and USP within local market parent and competitor context and aligned to the Nord Anglia brand position together with the brand framework and brand style guide.

Lead the development of the annual marketing plan for the school Overseeing the MAC budget and the ROI of marketing activities carried out.

Lead the development of content strategy for the school to develop an ongoing pipeline of content that can be used year round to inspire engage and inform all relevant external stakeholders.

Implement the school brand style guide to ensure consistency and quality of positioning and visual identity in all school collateral including core Nord Anglia brand and marketing campaigns such as Juilliard MIT UNICEF and Global Campus.

Lead the website development and paid media to demonstrate leadership for the school at every stage of the parent online research journey.

Measures Increases in enquiries Relevant parent survey results Annual table top review to check brand consistency Performance of paid campaigns versus budget and prior year Feedback from regional team Improved marketing plan spend efficiency spend per starter year on year Frequency of posts on target. Social media and digital metrics showing continuous positive trend and meeting benchmarks.

BRANDING IMAGE AND WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

Oversee the implementation of the school brand style guide to ensure consistency and quality of positioning and visual identity across all collateral.

Develop the school website to reflect an authentic and attractive vision of the school The website attracts potential customers and other stakeholders and provides accurate and up to date information about Hamelin Laie.

Develop the PR and media strategy for the school to ensure that Hamelin Laie is well recognised and respected.

Ensure that the interior and exterior of the school reflect a premium image liaising with the Facilities Team to act upon areas that fail to reach the required standard.

Ensure all external sales focused events have relevant promotional materials including merchandise collateral and branded displays.

Measures Parent Satisfaction Survey results Website accuracy Number of media articles.

PUBLICATIONS

Plan create and publish the Hamelin Laie Yearbook to reflect the successes and achievements of the school and all its stakeholders.

Oversee all photography and videography across the school including organizing the annual school photos.

Measure Delivered on time.

REPORTING AND DATA ANALYSIS

Analyse data to enable effective decision making with regards to current and future marketing approaches.

Lead the review of school enrolment data to identify opportunities and risks and develop plans to unlock and mitigate.

Measure Return on Investment regarding marketing.

MEMBER OF THE MAC TEAM

Play an active and impactful role in the overall objectives of the MAC team.

Support other members of the MAC Team during busy times.

Line management responsibilities for one member of the MAC Team.

Support the Communications Events and Community Relations Manager in promoting school events externally.

Lead the creation and review of the annual MAC development plan.

Share expertise and experience freely within the team to attain the best outcomes.

Lead the development of the PR and media strategy.

Lead in ensuring that the school halls are branded correctly kept tidy and display the unique selling points of our school.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree: Essential

Significant experience in a Sales Marketing role with demonstrated success in growing increasing sales in a competitive market: Essential

English Spanish advanced level: Essential

Catalan fluent: Desired

Experience of high level networking to build creative and mutually beneficial relationships that positively impact on strategic and tactical business development: Desirable

Understanding of and the ability to build strong customer advocacy and repeat client loyalty and retention: Desirable

Experience of having worked within a service delivery sector education sector experience a bonus: Desirable

Experience in monitoring competitor market activity: Desirable
