Job Description


Little Words Project looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to help lead and elevate the visual expression of Little Words Project across all brand touchpoints. This role is ideal for a concept-driven designer with a strong eye, deep brand sensibility, and experience bringing creative ideas to life across digital, print, retail, and experiential channels.

In this role, you'll work on the Creative Team and partner closely with our Marketing, Site, Social, Brand Activations/Events, and Product teams to ensure our visuals are cohesive, compelling, and aligned with our brand vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design execution across campaigns, product launches, collaborations, and brand initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong visual systems that align with brand guidelines while pushing creative evolution
  • Design assets across multiple channels including web, email, social, paid media, retail signage, packaging, and events
  • Concept and execute creative ideas from initial brief through final production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business goals into thoughtful creative solutions
  • Support photoshoots and content creation through layout direction, asset needs, and post-production design
  • Manage and mentor freelance designers in partnership with Creative Leads, providing feedback and direction to support scalable creative output
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bring a strong understanding of performance marketing, designing with paid media best practices in mind and optimizing creative for conversion across channels

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio across branding, digital, and print
  • Expert in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Proven experience designing for digital channels including paid and organic social, email, landing pages, and marketing content
  • Experience working with e-commerce or DTC brands
  • Experience with physical design such as packaging, marketing collateral, retail print assets, and OOH
  • Video editing experience is a plus (CapCut, TikTok, Premiere and/or After Effects)
  • Familiarity with animation, illustration, photo editing, and light motion
  • Strong visual design fundamentals with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and always looking to elevate craft and process
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment

This is a remote role; however candidates must be located on the East Coast/work EST hours to ensure overlap with our team. Occasional attendance at photo and video shoots may be required depending on project needs.
