Job Description

Cedarstone Global is a financial data and analytics firm working with international brokerages, trading platforms, and investment clients. We specialise in transforming raw financial data into decision-support dashboards and performance insights across trading behaviour, client ROI, and portfolio risk.

The Role

We are looking for a junior-level Data Analyst to join our analytics team. You’ll be working directly with brokerage data including client accounts, trading volumes, deposit activity, and performance trends. This role is suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spotting patterns, and building basic reports in Excel or Power BI.

No advanced modelling or prior finance experience is required — just curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to learn on the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, sort, and structure raw trading data from brokers and internal systems
  • Analyse client activity patterns, trade frequency, deposit/withdrawal flows, and volume behaviour
  • Support weekly reporting on KPIs like ROI, drawdown, lot size, and churn
  • Assist in building basic dashboards or performance trackers using Excel or Power BI
  • Work with senior analysts to identify trends and surface useful business insights
  • Maintain internal logs and assist with recurring data checks and validation

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
  • Proficient in Excel (formulas, sorting, filters, basic charts)
  • Willingness to learn tools like Power BI, SQL, or Google Sheets (if not already familiar)
  • Good written communication – able to explain findings simply
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently
  • Interest in finance, trading, or performance data is helpful but not required

Benefits

  • Fully remote with flexible working hours
  • Occasional in-person team meet-ups in Central London
  • Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
  • Real-world experience with brokerage data
  • Opportunity for growth into more advanced analyst roles
