The ideal candidate is comfortable working with core database code, solving large-scale data challenges, and contributing to critical enterprise technology used by Fortune 500 companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the PostgreSQL-based analytics platform, contributing to kernel-level and core database enhancements.
- Solve large-scale analytics challenges using Greenplum’s Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) architecture.
- Design, develop, and optimize distributed systems, queries, and parallel processing pipelines.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across the data platform.
- Collaborate closely with engineers on low-level, system-level, and distributed systems problems.
- Contribute to enterprise-grade technology supporting analytics, AI/ML workloads, and large-scale data pipelines.

Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with C and/or C++
- Background in kernel-level, low-level, or systems programming

Nice to Have:
