- Role: Scala Open Source Developer (Remote)
- Location: 100% Remote (Global)
- RATE: USD 0-50/ HOUR
One of our clients is seeking experienced Scala open-source contributors to help improve AI-powered code reasoning systems. This role is ideal for developers who actively contribute to Scala projects and are interested in shaping the next generation of AI coding tools.
Role Overview
You will use the client’s new AI code copilot extension during your regular Scala development workflow. As you build, refactor, and review code, you will provide structured feedback on the model’s suggestions to help improve its reasoning and output quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the AI-powered code copilot while completing real-world Scala development tasks
- Evaluate and provide feedback on code suggestions, reasoning quality, and architectural decisions
- Identify gaps, inaccuracies, or inefficiencies in model outputs
- Collaborate with the AI research team to iterate on tool improvements
- Document findings clearly and systematically

Ideal Qualifications
- Active contributor to Scala open-source repositories
