In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
Requirements
- A degree in Aerospace engineering, Computer science or in a similar subject
- Experience in scripting using Python and VB and willingness to improve and automate workflows
- Database knowledge (MySQL)
- Experience in Windows Server maintenance
- Experience in defining, verifying, and validating (contingency) procedures related to operations
- Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
- Basic knowledge of operation of spacecraft control systems, Operations preparation and routine operations of LEO satellite systems is preferred

Support mission planning activities for different LEO missions in GSOC
- Monitor the computer systems which generate the mission timeline depending on mission Agreements
- Intervene and correct when issues with the system occur
- Coordinate with different teams for any activity out of the nominal (e.g. special activities, tests, etc.)
- Update documentation and procedures for both nominal and contingency situations
- Investigate off-nominal behavior and find solutions
- Regular statistical analyses
- Testing, reporting, and implementation/deployment of new MP application versions, workflows, or operational concepts
- Test, setup, and deploy new operational server versions when necessary
- Monitor server status and react in case of issues
- Continuously improve operational tools
- Regular archiving of data
- Regular maintenance activities
