Job Description
Role: Director, Total Rewards & Operations
About interos.ai: Global supply chains are more complex — and more vulnerable — than ever. At interos.ai, we’re solving that by applying AI and graph technology to dynamically map, monitor, and model supplier ecosystems. Our platform gives organizations real-time visibility into risk across their supply chain — geopolitical, cyber, financial, and more — without invasive data collection. With a first-mover advantage and a game-changing product, we’re entering a critical growth phase. That’s where you come in.
About the Role: The Director of Total Rewards & People Operations is a critical member of the People team, responsible for both the strategic leadership and hands-on execution of compensation, benefits, HR systems, and people analytics. Reporting to the SVP, Talent & Operations, this role is designed for a high performer who thrives in a lean, fast-growing environment with the opportunity to work on high visibility and impactful work. This role is ideal for someone who values hands-on involvement and takes pride in building scalable, service-driven People programs that support employees and the business.
This role will shape how we attract, reward, support, and retain talent while ensuring our People systems, data, and processes are accurate, compliant, and ready to scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and administer the organization’s total rewards philosophy, including benefits, job architecture, salary structures, benchmarking, incentive programs, and annual compensation cycles.
- Personally execute and support benefits administration activities, including open enrollment preparation, vendor coordination, employee communications, and issue resolution.
- Champion a stellar candidate and employee experience across the employee lifecycle, with particular focus on seamless onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day People Operations interactions.
- Own and operate the HRIS environment, including system configuration, data integrity, reporting, troubleshooting, integrations, and ongoing optimization of HR applications.
- Perform hands-on HRIS and people data work, including report creation, data audits, data corrections, integrations support, and ad hoc analyses to meet business, compliance, and operational needs.
- Drive HR process improvements by identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline workflows across the employee lifecycle.
- Build, maintain, and deliver People metrics, spreadsheets, dashboards, and KPI reporting for People leadership and business stakeholders.
- Own employee-facing People resources, keeping policies, guides, and documentation current and accessible while proactively identifying gaps based on employee and manager questions.
- Support global People operations by coordinating with international partners and ensuring alignment with local market practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Analyze workforce data, including retention, turnover, compensation trends, and organizational health indicators, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Manage vendor relationships directly, including contract negotiations, renewals, performance management, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to People leadership and business partners by providing both strategic guidance and hands-on operational support in a lean, fast-paced environment.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to compensation, benefits, HR systems, and People data, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support while balancing confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Lead the administration and analysis of employee engagement surveys, translating results into clear insights and actionable recommendations to department and executive leadership that inform People priorities and leadership decision-making.
- Operate a high-trust, service-oriented People operations model by triaging and resolving day-to-day questions, troubleshooting system or vendor issues, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality employee experience across all People programs and tools.
- Help shape People strategy through trusted partnership and influence, combining frontline employee insights with data and operational realities to inform decisions, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
