Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist at EPS Learning plays a key role in the daily operations of the HR function, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail‑driven HR professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional employee support and helping cultivate a positive, collaborative remote work culture. In this role, you will partner closely with the VP of Human Resources to maintain accurate employee data, ensure timely and precise payroll cycles, and oversee core employee programs including onboarding and offboarding, performance management, recognition initiatives, and benefits enrollment. Your work will directly contribute to a smooth employee experience and strong organizational operations.
To be considered for this position, candidates must reside within the eastern and central regions of United States and posses current US Work Authorization.
Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP and/or ADP TotalSource ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Review time and attendance data and follow up with managers or employees on missing or incorrect information.
- Maintain payroll files and support updates to employee records, including personal information and compensation changes.
- Generate payroll reports for HR and Finance teams as needed.
- Manage annual open enrollment,status changes,new hire and termination processes for benefits programs.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee benefits questions, escalating complex matters to HR leadership.
- Assist with maintaining benefits documentation, employee communications, and eligibility tracking.
- Coordinate with external benefits partners or vendors as directed.
- Help ensure HR processes comply with Federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support the maintenance of personnel files and HRIS data accuracy.
- Assist with completion of required compliance reports or audits, such as the annual 401(k) plan audit.
- Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including eVerify and payroll forms, system updates, and employee communication.
- Assist with general HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources.
- Support the VP of HR with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, ora relatedfield. Equivalent experience and SHRM certification considered.
- A minimum of three years of direct human resources and payroll experience required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Basic understanding of HR principles, payroll processes,and employment regulations.
- Comfort with learning HR systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Experience with ADP or similar HRIS, payroll systems, and/or benefits portals.
- Interest in professional HR development (e.g., working toward SHRM-CP or similar certification).
- Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
- This is a fully remote position; candidates must be able to work effectively and independently from a home office.
- Standard Monday–Friday work week schedule, with occasional additional work hours as needed for an exempt level position.
- Must be comfortable working in a digital, fast-paced environment and proactively seeking information or solutions when needed.

Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and market conditions. Base pay is one component of EPS Learning's total compensation package, which also includes a generous benefits package, 401k plan, as well as bonus.
