Key Responsibilities
Expert Recruitment & Engagement
· Identify, engage, and onboard qualified professionals for research participation in China
· Maintain high-quality respondent pipelines aligned with project goals

Research Project Support
· Manage outreach and scheduling for expert interviews and surveys
· Tailor communication to different professional audiences
· Ensure respondent quotas are met with consistency and quality
· Support moderation of qualitative interviews when needed
Process & Operations Development
· Track recruitment progress and improve internal workflows
· Proactively suggest improvements to outreach, tracking, or respondent engagement strategies
· Maintain accurate records and insights within internal systems
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
· Work closely with research leads to align recruitment with project needs
· Coordinate with internal and offshore teams as required
· Provide contextual insight into regional dynamics that may impact outreach or response quality
Essential Skills
- Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and English
- Strong experience using WeChat for professional communication and community building
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
- Highly proactive, organized, and results‑driven
- Comfortable with outreach, follow‑ups, and relationship‑based recruitment
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Essential qualifications
- Bachelor degree minimum
- At least two years of professional experience in one or more of:
o Market research
o Recruitment / talent sourcing
o B2B sales or account management
o Community building or professional networking
Good-to-have skills
- Experience in life sciences, biotech, manufacturing, or technology sectors
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
- SQL or CRM experience
- Exposure to qualitative research or expert interviews
Working conditions
- Salary: £38,700 base salary plus discretionary bonus
- 24 days holiday, plus public holidays, with up to 5 days allowed to roll over, and additional holiday entitlement if you have to work on a weekend or public holiday
- 60% working from home, 40% from our office in Shoreditch (a higher in-office percentage during your first 6 months)
