Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Python, MLOps and Databricks to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you develop and operationalize forecasting models that support planning and decision making across the organisation. You work with modern cloud native tooling and contribute to the landscape of our evolving forecasting and ML infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing, productionizing and supporting machine learning models and data pipelines for forecasting.
- Implementing monitoring and observability to ensure model reliability and performance.
- Collaborating closely with ML engineers, architects and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Exploring new technologies and methods to improve forecasting processes and infrastructure.
- Aligning technical decisions with product strategy in close cooperation with the product owner.

Qualification & Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with MLOps, cloud computing and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and running models in production.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to distinguish between main and secondary issues.
- Experience with containerized application deployment.
- Excellent communication skills; English proficiency is required.
- Bonus: experience with MLflow, PySpark or Streamlit.
