The Role: Lead Backend Engineer

As Lead Backend Engineer, you will architect the Core Moat of a flagship platform.

You won't just write code — you'll design the "brain" of a system that determines legal and financial outcomes for multi-billion-dollar organizations.

You’ll work on deterministic rule engines with the precision of a Swiss watch and the scalability of a global payment gateway.

What You’ll Build

• Architect the Decision Engine: High-performance, rule-based engines transforming complex regulatory variables into binary outcomes

• Build the Regulation Diff Engine: Automatically track changes in gazettes and identify stakeholder impacts

• Engineer Temporal & Jurisdiction Engines: Solve the “time & space” problem in law (dates, grace periods, local deltas)

• Optimize the Proof Chain: DAG-based evidence-outcome graph for 100% explainability

• Lead Multi-tenant Isolation: Military-grade data and compute isolation for enterprises and public institutions

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in backend engineering (FinTech / RegTech / ERP preferred)

• Proficiency in Go or Python (FastAPI / Django), concurrency, memory management

• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge (partitioning, recursive CTEs, query optimization)

• Logic-first thinking (Policy-as-Code / custom DSLs / OPA)

• Experience in Event-Driven Architecture, DDD, building from 0→1

• Product-minded, impact-driven engineering mindset
