We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and implement secure, automated cloud infrastructure in support of enterprise data platforms and modern application delivery. In this role, you will leverage DevSecOps practices to ensure systems are reliable, compliant, and secure, while working closely with developers and product teams to accelerate delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and maintain AWS cloud environments (including GovCloud-style regulated environments) using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and manage Terraform templates for provisioning and configuration.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Containerize and deploy applications with Docker; operate Kubernetes environments in AWS GovCloud (IL5/IL6 a plus)
- Integrate automated security scanning and compliance controls directly into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support government prototype development with rapid, secure iterations.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability and performance.
- Automate vulnerability patching, security reporting, and compliance checks.
- Automate compliance artifacts and evidence generation to support ATO readiness.
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency with Terraform and IaC practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Hands-on with Docker and container deployments.
- Solid background in Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, HIPAA, RMF).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP).
- Experience with secrets management (Vault, OPA, Conftest).
- Familiarity with observability tools (ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana).
