Data Center Technician – Ellendale, ND (Must Be Willing to Relocate)
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure availability and reliability of data center operations
- Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues
- Perform root cause analysis on hardware/software failures
- Train internal teams and develop technical documentation
- Provide hands-on technical support to data center teams
- Develop scripts for server and network hardware updates
- Maintain inventory and manage equipment installations
- Conduct maintenance on test and tooling equipment
- Travel occasionally to other data center locations
- Experience with computer hardware (troubleshooting, assembly)
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations
- Comfortable in a 24/7 operational environment with on-call rotation
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Quick problem-solving and task prioritization abilities
- Physical requirements met with reasonable accommodations
