The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
This role will lead the employee engagement and communication strategy for ES Applications. At the core of this role is a focus on people and values. To be successful will require a data driven approach and the ability to leverage formal and informal communication channels to amplify key messages, drive engagement, and capture positive attention.
What You Will Do:
- The scope of work entails being a thought leader on effective communication and engagement methods and techniques.
- To be successful in role will require drafting yearlong communication plans that reinforce key RTX messages, ES Applications goals and improvement targets, CORE, and ES Applications initiatives stemming from Pulse all of which become drum beat messages that are included in multiple channels (RTXConnections, Teams, Newsletters, All Hands, Extended Staffs, etc.).
- The ability to foster collaboration and partnership across the organization and activate formal and informal communication and engagement approaches are central.
- Primary responsibilities include leading employee engagement efforts, SCONE (the social committee), Employee Experience (volunteer group that responds to Pulse) and Purposeful Work (cross service line volunteers that reinforce the RTX Mission and Values), as well as, maximizing engagement with the ES Applications RTXConnections community and Teams Channel through timely, clear, and relevant communication messages.
- This role directly supports the Office of the Corporate CIO, and reports to the Sr Dir, Corporate Applications.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree with 10 years of related work experience.
- Strategic thinking to connect communication plans to larger enterprise priorities and professional communication skills with the ability to create visually engaging presentations and content that align with the CIO’s objectives and messaging.
- Ability to adopt RTX best practices for effective communications and change management
- Strong capability to synthesize complex content into easily digestible and engaging blog posts, RTXConnections articles, campaigns and presentations
- Ability to foster buy-in and enthusiasm among leadership for ideas and initiatives stemming from volunteer groups
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to ground communication and engagement strategy within larger context, business priorities, challenges, and external factors

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
