This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a People and Business Operations Manager in the United States.

This role provides a unique opportunity to own day-to-day people operations, recruiting execution, and executive operational support in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will ensure operational continuity, allowing leadership to focus on strategic priorities while maintaining a seamless employee experience. The position blends people-focused operations with business and executive support, overseeing recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and administrative workflows. You will be the trusted partner for both employees and senior leadership, contributing to organizational efficiency, engagement, and performance. The role requires independent judgment, strong execution skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, post-Series A startup environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and a positive workplace culture.

Accountabilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting operations, including job postings, market salary research, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Own onboarding and early employee experiences, from first-day sessions to 30–90 day integration, ensuring benefits enrollment and proper system setup.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions, monitor engagement and retention risk, and maintain HR processes, salary bands, and performance review cycles.
  • Handle legal and employment administration, including NDAs, contractor agreements, offer letters, option grants, and coordination with external legal counsel.
  • Oversee business operations and administration, maintaining operational trackers, documentation, team offsites, and compliance with state renewals.
  • Provide executive and leadership support, managing CEO and COO calendars, travel, leadership meetings, and board or investor materials.
  • Partner with third-party HR and other internal teams to ensure continuity, operational excellence, and high-quality execution across the organization.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in People Operations, Business Operations, or Executive Operations, with a focus on high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders and providing executive-level operational support.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and judgment skills, with the ability to operate independently and proactively.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling) and familiarity with benefits administration, employee records, and onboarding processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, capable of working across functional teams and external partners.
  • Preference for candidates available to start in February; cover letter highly encouraged.
