Job Description

As a Senior Developer, you will be part of a team of 5 developers (including yourself). You will strengthen the team by designing, developing, and refining smart applications that simplify or fully automate various processes. These include logistics, administrative, operational, and e-commerce related processes.

You will also play a key role in architectural decisions and platform modernization, working on scalable solutions that directly impact the business and customer experience.

What will you be working on?

• Building and modernizing a new ERP and Warehouse System
• Designing and developing applications that improve existing processes or enable new ones
• Translating functional designs into technical designs and implementations
• Integrating various systems through APIs and developing the necessary APIs

• Contributing to the transition from legacy systems to a modern Symfony-based architecture
• Coaching colleagues and elevating engineering standards within the team

Your day:

9:00 – Stand-Up Meeting

Your day begins with a quick stand-up meeting with the tech team, where you discuss project updates, blockers, and priorities.

9:30 – Coding and Development

You focus on building new features, improving integrations, or contributing to platform modernization.

11:00 – Stakeholder Meeting

You align with stakeholders to refine requirements and technical solutions.

12:00 – Lunch Break

Unlimited and very affordable lunch. What’s more, you can enjoy it on our rooftop terrace.

13:30 – Code Review and Feedback

You review code and help safeguard quality, scalability, and maintainability.

15:00 – Troubleshooting and Production Support

You resolve production or system issues together with cross-functional teams.

16:30 – Wrap-Up and Planning for Next Day

You finalize tasks and prepare priorities for the next day.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of HBO working and thinking level
• A team player mentality
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills
• At least 5 years of experience in software/web development, focused on PHP
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
• You understand and apply SOLID principles
• Experience designing scalable architectures and integrations
• You keep data flowing smoothly with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Familiarity with API-driven systems and middleware is a strong plus
