Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our team. The Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products — including an interactive meeting app where participants share videos, audio, screens, and use breakout rooms. This role involves using both manual and automated testing to uphold Platonix’s high standards for user experience and seamless platform performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications including live interactive meeting features.
• Test interactive meeting functionalities such as participant video and audio sharing, screen sharing, breakout rooms, chat, and collaboration tools.
• Perform various testing types: functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing on the interactive meeting app and related features.
• Use automation tools to create and run automated tests covering key meeting app workflows and interactive features.
• Identify, document, and communicate software defects and inconsistencies clearly and promptly.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand feature requirements and deliver quality outcomes.
• Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and adopt best practices in testing, especially for real-time interactive applications.
• Verify bug fixes and validate enhancements before release.
• Assist in risk assessment and advise on quality impact of releases.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer, preferably in digital products with real-time interactive features.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools is a must.
• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS/Android), web and OTT platforms.
• Ability to test live interactive meeting applications including participant video, audio, screen sharing, breakout rooms, and chat features.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks for testing real-time interactive functionalities.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
