Job Description


🚀 We’re hiring: Event Sponsorship Sales Lead (Remote, Contract)

Running Remote — the world’s leading conference on building and scaling remote teams — is looking for an Event Sponsorship Sales Lead to own sponsorship revenue for Running Remote 2026.

This is a full-time, 100% remote contract role running until 29 May 2026, working closely with the Head of Events.


What you’ll do

  • Own the full sponsorship sales lifecycle (inbound + outbound)
  • Design and sell tailored sponsorship packages and multi-event deals
  • Build long-term sponsor relationships and ensure a profitable event
  • Be the main point of contact for sponsors before, during, and after the event
  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT daily for prospect research, outreach, and pitch optimization

  • Strong ownership mindset (“mini-CEO” model)
  • High autonomy, clear outcomes, no micromanagement
  • 4+ hours daily overlap with 9:00–18:00 CET, async otherwise


You

  • 5+ years in event sponsorship sales (tech/SaaS preferred)
  • Proven experience with virtual or hybrid events
  • Comfortable running deals end-to-end in HubSpot or similar CRM
  • Confident working fully remotely and independently
  • Excited to use AI as a real sales accelerator (not a buzzword)
