We are currently on the lookout for a highly experienced Senior Microsoft Engineer to join our skilled team, working entirely onsite in Bethesda, Maryland.
The perfect candidate will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft-based solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft technologies and the ability to work closely with our customers to address their changing requirements.
Key Responsibilities{{:}}
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Server environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365
- Work in collaboration with software development teams to ensure adherence to best practices for cloud deployments and infrastructure management
- Conduct system health checks and enhance system performance and uptime
- Provide technical support and solutions for intricate issues connected to Microsoft technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures
- Implement Microsoft security policies to protect data and systems
- Support in planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and installations

- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
- Knowledgeable in network configuration, including port and VLAN configuration
- A minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud services like Azure or Office 365
- Holding a DoD IAT Level III certification (such as CISSP, CCNP, CISA, CASP+) is a must
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Administrator, or similar qualifications
- Familiarity with ACAS scans and strategies for mitigation
- Proven experience in scripting and automation with PowerShell or comparable languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Capable of collaborating effectively within a team while communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Security Clearance{{:}} Active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $160,000 to $180,000
