Job Description


Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is dedicated to providing outstanding consulting services that focus on management and technology solutions for both government and commercial clients. We are currently on the lookout for a highly experienced Senior Microsoft Engineer to join our skilled team, working entirely onsite in Bethesda, Maryland.

The perfect candidate will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft-based solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft technologies and the ability to work closely with our customers to address their changing requirements.

Key Responsibilities{{:}}

  • Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Server environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365
  • Work in collaboration with software development teams to ensure adherence to best practices for cloud deployments and infrastructure management
  • Conduct system health checks and enhance system performance and uptime
  • Provide technical support and solutions for intricate issues connected to Microsoft technologies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures
  • Implement Microsoft security policies to protect data and systems
  • Support in planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and installations


Requirements

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Knowledgeable in network configuration, including port and VLAN configuration
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud services like Azure or Office 365
  • Holding a DoD IAT Level III certification (such as CISSP, CCNP, CISA, CASP+) is a must
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Administrator, or similar qualifications
  • Familiarity with ACAS scans and strategies for mitigation
  • Proven experience in scripting and automation with PowerShell or comparable languages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team while communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Security Clearance{{:}} Active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required

Preferred Experience{{:}}

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of network design and security frameworks

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $160,000 to $180,000
