As we continue to grow across the USA, UK, Australia and globally, we’re expanding our marketing team to elevate our presence across social media, creator partnerships, and paid performance channels.
Role Overview --
We’re looking for a part-time (20 hours/week) creative, detail-oriented Social Media Strategist to support our global organic social media, influencer, UGC, and paid social efforts. This role is perfect for a hands-on creator who understands the parenting and lifestyle space, thrives in a cross-global working environment, and is passionate about storytelling through content.
You will own the monthly content calendar, manage creator and UGC pipelines, assist with paid ads, and contribute to our strategic growth across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging channels. In addition, you’ll support broader marketing initiatives and occasionally join evening meetings with the Australian team to ensure alignment across campaigns.
Key Responsibilities --
ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:
- Own the monthly organic social media calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
- Shoot, edit, and publish high-quality short-form photo and video content that aligns with brand identity. Experience with video editing tools such as Splice or CapCut and photo tools such as Canva is a plus.
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence, tone of voice, and visual aesthetic across all markets (USA, UK, AU).
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities to optimize content for reach, engagement, and retention.
UGC MANAGEMENT:
- Manage UGC sourcing platforms (e.g., Trend) to secure high-performing assets.
- Evaluate incoming content for quality, brand alignment, and usage rights.
- Maintain an organized content library for cross-channel digital use (web, social, paid ads, Amazon, retailers).

INFLUENCER MANAGEMENT:
- Manage all influencer activity through Upfluence, including sourcing, outreach, negotiations, gifting, and approvals.
- Coordinate with creators in the USA, UK, and Australia to secure content for social and paid usage.
- Track deliverables, performance metrics, and ROI for ongoing and campaign-based partnerships.
TIKTOK MANAGEMENT AND CONTENT CREATION:
- Act as an on-camera and behind-the-camera content creator for the Jack N’ Jill’s TikTok channel.
- Develop trend-driven, educational, and entertaining TikTok content aligned with brand objectives.
- Manage TikTok Shop Affiliate outreach and sample approvals, analyze content, and work with Digital Marketing Manager and TikTok agency on boosting high performing content.
PAID SOCIAL ADS SUPPORT
- Assist with planning, launching, and optimizing paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Help build creative variations for testing, including hooks, CTAs, copy variations, and UGC ads.
REPORTING & ANALYTICS:
- Build monthly performance dashboards for leadership covering:
- Organic social results & growth trends
- Influencer & UGC content performance
- Provide insights and recommendations for future content and campaign improvements.

Qualifications --
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital content creation (CPG or parenting space a plus).
- Proven experience creating short-form videos for brands.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and social best practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as Upfluence, Trend, Later, CapCut, etc.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects across global time zones.
- Experience using Canva and AI-based design tools to create engaging visuals, social media content, and marketing collateral.
- Ability to monitor and analyse campaign performance, producing regular reports to track ROI, inform strategy, and optimise content and paid media initiatives.
- A passion for creativity, kids’ brands, and digital storytelling.
Bonus Skills --
- Experience working with Amazon or retailer marketing assets.
- Basic paid social ads knowledge (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Graphic design or light photo retouching skills.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), fully remote position. Candidates must be based in Virginia or Maryland. Please note that benefits are not offered for this role at this time; however, there is strong potential for growth, including the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position later this year.
