ServiceNow Tools Architect (AIOps & Observability)
Location: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: Contract
Rate: $65-70/hr C2C
Visa: USC / GC / H1B (Relocation acceptable)
Interview: Team Video Interview (Mandatory)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Tools Architect with deep expertise in AIOps, ITOM, and enterprise tools integration to lead architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise monitoring and automation platforms.
This role requires a hands-on architect who has personally driven end-to-end tools integration, not just overseen delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong architecture leadership, technical depth, and project/program management capability to drive large-scale observability and automation initiatives.
The architect will partner with Capgemini and LPL stakeholders to design and implement enterprise-grade solutions across ServiceNow ITOM, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, AIOps, and automation platforms to improve operational visibility, event correlation, and service reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Lead design and architecture of enterprise ITOM, AIOps, and observability solutions
- Drive end-to-end tools integration across monitoring, automation, and ITSM platforms
- Architect and optimize ServiceNow ITOM ecosystem including:
- CMDB governance & CSDM alignment
- Discovery & Service Mapping
- Event Management & automation workflows
- Define and implement enterprise AIOps strategy and roadmap
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks for automation and monitoring
- Lead direct integration of:
- Dynatrace (primary focus – ~80%)
- SolarWinds (good to have)
- ServiceNow ITOM modules
- Ansible automation
- AIOps and monitoring tools
- Implement event correlation, root cause analysis, and predictive monitoring
- Integrate AIOps with ITSM, monitoring, and observability platforms
- Drive automation scripts, workflows, and orchestration initiatives
- Ensure accurate CI mapping and service mapping across hybrid environments
- Optimize data ingestion, normalization, and event thresholds

- Act as primary SME for AIOps and automation initiatives
- Define governance, standards, and best practices for tools ecosystem
- Improve operational efficiency through workflow/process optimization
- Track KPIs, performance metrics, and ROI of automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance, security, and audit readiness of automation platforms
- Lead technical workshops and customer discussions
- Provide architecture guidance and proposal support

- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously
- Coordinate with stakeholders across infrastructure, application, and business team.

Core Technical Skills
- 8+ years in ITOM / Tools Architecture / Observability Engineering
- Strong hands-on tools integration experience (mandatory)
- ServiceNow Architect experience required
- Deep expertise in:
- ServiceNow ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, CSDM)
- Dynatrace (mandatory – strong expertise)
- SolarWinds (preferred)
- Ansible automation
- AIOps platforms and monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and change management
- Experience designing enterprise monitoring and automation strategy
- Hands-on experience implementing AIOps solutions
- Familiarity with AI-driven monitoring, automation, and operations
- Experience with predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and RCA tools
- Proven ownership of end-to-end tools integration
- Ability to define architecture decisions and integration patterns
- Experience troubleshooting complex integration issues
- Experience in hybrid enterprise environments
