Russell Tobin is seeking a Security Contract Analyst to support a global enterprise cloud technology leader. This role sits at the intersection of information security, legal, and technology contracting, helping ensure contractual language appropriately reflects security, privacy, and risk considerations in a SaaS environment.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with internal legal, commercial legal, and cross-functional stakeholders to review and enhance contractual language related to information security, data protection, and architecture.
- Analyze proposed contractual terms and assess their impact on the organization’s security posture; provide risk-mitigation recommendations.
- Stay current on enterprise cloud architecture, security regulations, and industry best practices related to information security and contractual agreements.
- Navigate ambiguity effectively, adapting strategies to address evolving challenges and priorities.
- Integrate AI into work processes and decision-making (e.g., AI tools, workflow automation, AI-driven insights).

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Information Security experience applying security principles to contractual language in a corporate environment.
- 4+ years of Legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department within a technology company, focused on technology contracts and security.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting enterprise SaaS agreements, including security and privacy terms.
- Familiarity with creating contract summaries and performing issue spotting.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise IT landscape, including SaaS and cloud computing security implications.
