Job Description
To clarify, candidates are first required to complete a three-month unpaid internship in Bali so we can assess fit and performance. If this initial stage goes well, we would be pleased to discuss the potential transition to a paid internship position in Australia.
Role Overview
As a Computer Vision and AI Intern, you will work on developing innovative AI-driven computer vision solutions. You will be exposed to state-of-the-art technologies, where you will use your engineering background to contribute to real-world applications of AI, from object detection to facial recognition, and much more.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Develop and implement computer vision models to tackle challenges like object detection, image segmentation, and visual data analysis.
- Use Python, OpenCV, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch to build effective visual recognition systems.
- Evaluate and improve model performance by refining training techniques, using proper validation metrics, and applying real-world feedback.
- Contribute to the optimization of vision algorithms, ensuring they perform efficiently across varying environments and hardware.
- Assist in managing data pipelines for computer vision applications, ensuring clean, structured data for effective model training.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into broader AI systems and products.

Role-Relevant Skills
- Computer Vision Techniques: Strong understanding of object detection, image classification, and image segmentation techniques using Python and OpenCV.
- Deep Learning Integration: Familiar with implementing machine learning models and neural networks in TensorFlow or PyTorch for visual data analysis.
