About The Role
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic prototype team for a new, multi-platform free-to-play game. This role is initially a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and potential transition into a full-time position based on project needs and mutual fit. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for shaping the visual and interactive aspects of the game’s user interface, ensuring an engaging, accessible, and seamless player experience. You will work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to prototype, test, and refine UI/UX concepts that align with the overall game vision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project from its early stages, helping to craft a game that aims to captivate players for years to come. The position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a talented, scrappy team passionate about pushing the boundaries of mobile and cross-platform gaming.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for PC and/or mobile games
- Strong skills in rendering high-quality UI elements
- Experience working directly within a game engine
- Ability to create interactive prototypes and wireframes for testing and iteration
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and user-centered design principles
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including designers, artists, and developers
- Strong communication skills with openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design processes
- Passion for innovative game design and a desire to shape the UI/UX of a potential blockbuster
