About The Role

Ahdus Technology is hiring a Cloud Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between deep technical expertise and customer-facing sales execution. This role is critical in helping customers design, evaluate, and adopt scalable cloud architectures that meet performance, security, and cost objectives.

You will partner closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teamsguiding prospects from early discovery through solution validationwhile ensuring technical alignment with real-world business outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to evaluate opportunities and design tailored cloud solutions for each customer.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, challenges, compliance needs, and constraints.
  • Create and present architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and cost/value analyses that clearly articulate solution benefits.
  • Deliver technical demos, proofs of concept (PoCs), benchmarks, and performance tests to validate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation.
  • Design solutions using OpenStack-based environments, with strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Recommend automation strategies including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Architect containerized solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Embed observability, monitoring, reliability, and security best practices into every design.
  • Lead customer technical workshops, onboarding sessions, and architecture review meetings.
  • Capture customer feedback and market insights to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or cloud architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of OpenStack with broad exposure to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Solid understanding of virtualization, networking fundamentals, firewalls, load balancing, and high-availability architectures.
  • Proven experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Working knowledge of cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog, along with an understanding of cloud pricing and cost-optimization models.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical solutions into business-focused messaging for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills with experience leading technical discussions and customer workshops.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, OpenStack certifications) are a plus.
  • Awareness of AI-enabled infrastructure concepts, including AI agents, MCP servers, and modern automation using AI tooling, is beneficial.
