This position is hybrid onsite in the Philadelphia area. Relocation expense can be covered. Visa transfers are possible. No Corp to Corp.

Our client seeks a SENIOR BIG DATA ENGINEER for a direct hire opportunity. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining large, complex database systems using Hadoop, Oracle and other technologies.

• Create, develop, and maintain database applications for our data systems.
• Develop and support Linux shell scripts and Python programs for batch processing tasks.
• Design solutions utilizing Hadoop, Hive, Druid, and Spark technologies.
• Manage and support our Oracle database instance and applications in a high-transaction environment.
• Conduct regular operational activities to ensure database stability.
• Provide production support during off-hours and weekends as needed.
