Senior Machine Learning Engineer – ML Platform (Feature Engineering)
- Location: Remote
- Rate: €140 per hour (40 hours/week)
- Duration: 6 months (possible extensions)
- Start: ASAP
A global technology marketplace is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a small high-impact platform team responsible for operationalising machine learning across the organisation. This is not a maintenance role — you will help shape and scale a new ML product used by multiple teams across the company.
The Role
You will work at the intersection of data infrastructure and applied machine learning, enabling teams to deploy models quickly, reliably and at scale.
You’ll design and build ML pipelines, production workflows and feature systems while collaborating closely with data scientists and platform engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build production ML pipelines and streaming workflows
- Support model lifecycle from feature engineering to serving
- Improve reliability, monitoring and operational processes
- Collaborate across distributed teams
- Contribute to architecture and technical direction
- Enable internal teams to integrate ML models efficiently
