The role

You will take ownership of advanced InSAR processing workflows, ensuring rigorous quality control from initial data ingestion to the final client report.

A typical day involves seamlessly integrating optical imagery, GNSS metrics, and digital elevation models using sophisticated Python scripts and spatial databases.

Furthermore, you will scope new requirements, estimate realistic timelines, and communicate technical outputs clearly to key stakeholders.

The essential requirements

• At least 3 years of applied remote sensing experience, specifically focusing on successful end-to-end project delivery.
• A foundational understanding of minimum SAR principles and basic radar workflows to process surface deformation insights accurately.
• Exceptional spatial fundamentals, including deep expertise in complex projections, raster handling, and point cloud manipulation.
• Professional-grade Python programming skills required to generate client-ready maps, maintain clean code repositories, and interface with spatial databases.

What will make you stand out

• Hands-on familiarity with specific InSAR toolkits like SNAP or ISCE, alongside non-Sentinel platforms like TerraSAR-X.
• A proven track record of blending traditional optical observation with specialized geotechnical engineering metrics.
• Demonstrated comfort navigating Linux command-line environments and open-source mapping software for rapid troubleshooting.
