Location: Prague (Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and improving software leveraging modern engineering methodologies
• Delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java-based solutions
• Building microservices using Spring and Spring Boot
• Collaborating closely with peers, participating in code reviews, and promoting a shared engineering culture
• Following secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure robust solutions
• Writing reliable unit tests to ensure quality, readability, and resilience
• Staying informed on emerging technologies and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing communities

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in Java development, including excellent knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
• Multithreading is essential for the role (experience with it MUST be stated in the CV)
• Solid understanding of core Java and performance tuning
• Experience designing and implementing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with development and CI/CD tools such as GIT, TeamCity, and other industry-standard toolsets
• Familiarity with DevOps culture and principles

Nice to Have

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Knowledge of Kafka, GraphQL, or distributed event-driven systems
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure principles
• Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

Interview Process

Our interview process typically includes:

1. Initial call with the Hiring Manager
2. Technical interview, including deep technical discussions and two coding exercises
3. Values/culture interview and project discussion

Salary (multiple hires) - up to 190,000 CZK monthly DOE
