Job Description
Concentrate AI provides a unified, OpenAI-compatible API to access, route, and manage LLMs. We save our customers time, cut costs, and reduce risk. We sit in the hot path of high-volume AI traffic and logs.
We’re seed stage, well-funded, and in stealth. We’re hiring our first dedicated platform engineer. This role is fully remote.
This is a small, founder-led team where you’ll work directly with the CTO on core technical decisions in an environment that values thoughtful debate, strong ownership, and how you reason through choices.
The Role
You will own production infrastructure, reliability, and security. Your job is to make the platform secure, scalable, and reliable as usage grows fast. Going zero to one excites you and you are not afraid to explain your decisions.
Key Areas of Ownership:
- Platform Architecture: Design and operate a secure, resilient, multi-cloud platform, making and defending architectural choices as the system scales
- Reliability & Scale: Operate high-throughput distributed systems; define SLOs, capacity models, and cost controls
- Hands-on Engineering: Write and maintain production code, tooling, and automation with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and correctness.
- Deployments & Incidents: Ensure safe releases, fast rollbacks, strong observability, and effective incident response
- Security & Compliance: Infrastructure ownership for SOC 2 and similar regimes (access controls, isolation, encryption, auditability)
- Developer Velocity: Improve the local-to-prod experience to unlock engineering speed
