The Role
As a Data Scientist, you will transform large and complex datasets into practical insights that directly improve trading outcomes.
You will work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to analyse performance, test ideas, and improve systems. Your work will support both live trading decisions and long-term strategic development.
This role is highly analytical and hands-on, with real impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large structured and unstructured datasets related to trading activity.
- Identify patterns, inefficiencies, and performance drivers.
- Provide clear and timely insights to support trading and strategy decisions.
- Design and run controlled experiments (A/B testing) to evaluate strategies and processes.
- Develop and improve dashboards and performance reporting tools.
- Work with time-series data to evaluate market behaviour and trading models.
- Translate complex statistical results into practical recommendations.

- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative field.
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and experimental design.
- Advanced SQL skills for analysing large datasets.

- Experience working with time-series data.
- Understanding of core software development principles.
