Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure. This role focuses on leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC)—specifically Terraform—to automate deployments, ensure high availability, and optimize performance across our AWS environments. As a remote FTE, you will work closely with development and security teams to implement scalable and secure cloud solutions that support our mission-critical applications.

- IaC Automation: Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions using Terraform for core AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
- Infrastructure Design: Architect and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments tailored to business requirements.
- Operations & Maintenance: Monitor system health using tools like AWS CloudWatch, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related outages.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including identity management (IAM), data encryption (KMS), and network security controls (WAF, Security Groups).
- CI/CD Integration: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline) to automate infrastructure updates and application deployments.
