Title: Senior DevOps Engineer with Embedded Systems Experience (only W2 Position – No C2C Accepted)

Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening forDevOps Engineer with Embedded Systems Experience.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. Position Description:

• In this position you will be leading a team involved in cross-enterprise initiatives and large-scale vehicle and product launches driving Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps principles, culture, tools, and processes. We're not just building a product; we're building a community of expertise and engagement at Ford. Implementing and maintaining new Continuous Integration tools and infrastructure.
• Understanding the changing needs of developers and translating them into action items.
• Creating new ways to automate and improve the Continuous Integration process.
• Testing and examining code written by others
• Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes
• Working with other teams in the organization to ensure adherence to our best practices Responsibilities
• Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)

• Deploy updates and fixes as required to ensure Continuous Integration
• Develop solutions to integrate with internal back-end systems as needed
• Perform root cause analysis of development and production build and pipeline issues
• Develop automation to enhance current processes
• Develop new procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar software engineering role. Experience with embedded systems build and development process preferred. Team leadership experience highly preferred.
• Detail Oriented or Must have high attention to Detail
• Independent thinking and problem-solving o Be able to work independently o Proactively seek out problems and find solutions
• A strong foundation in System Engineering and Administration. or Linux or Windows
• Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages. o Bash o PowerShell o Python
