  • Analytical modeling of geometric and mechanical problems and implementing solutions in programs

What we would love to see from you

  • Master's Degree or higher (or NZ and AUS "Bachelor with honors") in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related and applicable technical discipline. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with substantial relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of proven experience working with any kind of fast rotating machinery
  • Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and mechanical design
  • Strong fundamentals of the problems of machine dynamics, in particular rotordynamics
  • Strong knowledge about bearings and rolling elements
  • Good knowledge of materials
  • Good understanding of industry standard and emerging manufacturing methods and their respective constraints
  • Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software and drafting
  • Experience writing software/scripts in languages like Python
