The Role:

We are looking for a Head of Packaging Design to lead our packaging studio. You are the captain of the design ship. Working closely with our Creative Head, internal Project Managers and clients, you will be responsible for translating strategic briefs into physical, manufacturable realities. —From custom boxes to glass bottles and extruded tubes to complex rigid structures and flexible films, you will oversee the full spectrum of packaging formats, proving that beautiful design and technical feasibility can co-exist.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Studio: Take ultimate ownership of all packaging design projects across the agency. You will plan bandwidth, assign projects, and manage the daily workflow of the design team to ensure we hit client milestones.
• Master of Form & Structure: Drive the structural engineering and industrial design of our packaging. You will push the boundaries of what paper, glass, plastic, and sustainable materials can do across all formats (bottles, jars, tubes, and cartons).
• Flawless Technical Execution: Create—and rigorously review—the work of your team to ensure the delivery 2D technical drawings (dielines, KLDs, engineering specs) and highly accurate 3D CAD models.
• Deploy AI Workflows: Champion the integration of AI-driven design, rendering, and structural analysis tools into our studio processes to accelerate ideation and significantly speed up our go-to-market timelines.
• Bridge Creative & Technical: Ensure that every piece of packaging we design not only looks stunning (creative flair) but actually works on the factory floor and survives transit (technical rigor).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Material Researchers, vendors and Packaging Engineers to integrate new, sustainable substrates into everyday client designs.

Who You Are:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Design or Industrial Design, with a deep passion for and transition into packaging.
• The Structural Creative: You think in 3D. You love solving complex structural problems, understanding manufacturing tolerances, and engineering the physical form—whether it's the draft angle of a bottle or the folding mechanism of a carton.
• A Proven Leader: You have experience managing creative teams, giving constructive feedback, and keeping multiple projects moving simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

• Technical Fluency: You are highly proficient in 3D modeling/rendering software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Keyshot) and 2D structural software (AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD, Illustrator).
• The Mindset: You are obsessed with the "unboxing experience" but ground your creativity in manufacturing reality. You embrace new tech like AI to work smarter and faster.
• Relocation: We need you to be based out of our office in Pune so if you are not from there you will have to relocate
