ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Technical Operations Manager to take complete ownership of our technical infrastructure. You'll work directly with leadership, managing servers, WordPress sites, databases, email systems, and security across our entire 63+ website network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Server & Infrastructure Management

• Manage virtual servers (VPS/dedicated) and hosting environments
• Monitor performance, uptime, and resource utilization
• Handle security hardening, updates, and patches
• Execute migrations, scaling, and optimization projects
WordPress & Database Administration
• Administer 60+ WordPress websites
• Manage MySQL/MariaDB databases (optimization, backups, recovery)
• Debug WordPress issues, plugin conflicts, and theme problems
• Implement disaster recovery procedures
cPanel, Email & DNS Management
• Administer cPanel/WHM for all domains
• Manage email configurations, migrations, and deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Handle DNS management and domain configurations
• Troubleshoot email delivery issues
Security & Access Management
• Implement security best practices across all systems
• Monitor for threats, vulnerabilities, and intrusions
• Manage SSL certificates and HTTPS configurations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
3+ years managing Linux virtual servers (VPS/dedicated)
Advanced WordPress administration expertise
Expert-level cPanel/WHM skills
Strong MySQL/MariaDB management
Server security and hardening experience
Email server management and deliverability
DNS, networking, and web hosting fundamentals
Experience managing multiple websites
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong documentation practices
Preferred:
CDN services (Cloudflare, etc.)
Monitoring tools (Uptime Robot, New Relic)
SEO technical requirements
WordPress REST API
