About us

Xpertell is a Netherlands based travel tech startup, incorporated as a B.V. in Amsterdam. We’ve been operating for 2 years, building tools that empower content creators to monetize their work, starting with the travel sector.

We’re now developing the next major version of our platform, designed to help travel creators grow and earn more. As our Development Lead, you’ll take full ownership of the technical direction from day one, shaping the architecture, leading development, and laying the foundation for our future tech team.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in PHP (Back-end) and React.js (Front-end) and is comfortable working with modern cloud infrastructure and web performance tools.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using PHP 

• Develop responsive and high-quality user interfaces using React.js

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security

• Work with AWS services for deployment and infrastructure management

• Configure and manage Cloudflare services for performance and security

• Collaborate with product, design, and Hands-on with Docker & DevOps

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Collaborate closely with team on product direction 

• Prepare the codebase for future team expansion 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with PHP (Back-end development)

• Solid experience with React.js

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and modern web architecture

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

• Familiarity with Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, security configurations)

• Experience with Git and version control workflows

• Understanding of database design (MySQL or similar)

• Ability to work independently and own the entire development cycle 

• Based in Iran/MENA/EU and open to joining a startup at an early stage

• Fluent in English and Persian (Farsi).

• Passion for building scalable products from scratch 

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Experience optimizing high-traffic systems
