IAM Test Manager

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced IAM Test Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing activities related to Access Management system deliveries.

This role is responsible for ensuring that IAM solutions — including authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, provisioning, and identity lifecycle processes — meet the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance before release into production.

You will play a critical role in validating end-to-end identity lifecycle processes and integrations across the enterprise IAM landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

• Create and maintain the IAM test strategy covering functional, integration, regression, and security testing
• Translate IAM requirements into structured test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Define test scope, timelines, dependencies, and entry/exit criteria

• Ensure traceability between requirements, risks, and test coverage

Test Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate and execute testing activities across multiple IAM platforms (Identity Governance, Access Management, Directory Services, Authentication Services)
• Conduct end-to-end testing for:
• Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes
• Provisioning and de-provisioning
• SSO and MFA flows
• Privileged access requests
• Manage defect reporting, triage, prioritization, and retesting with developers, IAM engineers, and vendors

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

• Ensure test coverage includes both functional and security impact validation
• Maintain high-quality documentation to support compliance and audits
• Assess risks and provide go-live readiness recommendations

Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with IAM architects, security teams, and project managers
• Guide business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Communicate test progress, risks, and release readiness to management

Tooling & Continuous Improvement

• Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira for planning and reporting
• Standardize IAM-specific test templates and reusable test assets
• Drive continuous improvement in IAM testing practices

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience in IAM testing or IAM delivery environments
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management (JML)
• Experience with authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and provisioning solutions
• Experience coordinating testing across complex, integrated IAM environments
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance requirements
