About Nexar Dynamics

Nexar Dynamics is an early-stage Estonia-based startup developing a smart home recycling system that integrates mechanical design, electronics, and intelligent automation.

We are currently in product development and prototyping phase. Our goal is to design a compact system that assists households in waste separation through automation and intelligent mechanisms.

We are expanding our technical team and looking for a Mechatronic Engineer to contribute to system integration and prototype development.

Role Overview

As a Mechatronic Engineer, you will work on integrating mechanical components with electronics and control systems within our prototype.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing mechatronic subsystems (motor-driven systems, compacting mechanisms, rotating units)
  • Supporting prototype development and functional testing
  • Integrating sensors, actuators, and control components
  • Collaborating with mechanical and software contributors
  • Improving durability, noise optimization, and manufacturability considerations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mechatronics, robotics, or mechanical-electronic integration
  • Experience with motors, actuators, and embedded control systems
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Prototype development experience
  • Understanding of hardware product development lifecycle
  • Ability to work in a remote, early-stage environment
  • English proficiency required
  • Willingness to sign NDA prior to accessing detailed project documentation

Compensation & Structure

This is currently an equity-based position under an ESOP structure with vesting terms.

Please note:

  • The company is in early-stage development.
