Freelance Recruitment Consultant (Remote) — Hong Kong Preferred

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced freelance Recruitment Consultant to own their own clients and recruitment desk. You’ll manage end-to-end search and delivery for your clients, source and engage talent, close placements, and build long-term relationships. This is a commission-first role (no base salary) with very competitive commission splits. Work full time or part time from anywhere; Hong Kong candidates are preferred at this stage.

- Own and manage your client relationships and recruitment desk independently.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment: client briefings, role profiling, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Proactively source talent through networking, direct sourcing, job boards, social media (LinkedIn), and headhunting.
- Present curated candidate shortlists and advise clients on market, compensation, and hiring strategy.
- Manage the candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records in our ATS/CRM.
- Collaborate with the wider team when additional support, resources, or specialist knowledge is needed.
- Hit agreed revenue/placement targets and maintain strong client satisfaction.
Who You Are
- Experienced recruiter with a proven track record of successful placements (agency or in-house).
- Comfortable owning a desk and running searches end-to-end independently.
- Strong network and sourcing skills, with a proactive, consultative approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and organised—able to manage pipeline and priorities remotely.
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using ATS/CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, and virtual meeting tools.
- Hong Kong-based candidates preferred at this stage (open to remote candidates elsewhere).
